qui se fait japon et ils cherchje
“During the first class I found myself sitting in front ojspoon a stool in a small empty underground room, manipulating wax. I was surprised and became a little emotional when I looked down and saw what my hands and unconscious mind had created: a rendering of the physical memory of my father’s face, like a death mask, with a similar texture to his skin moments after his soul left his body. My tactile memory was powerful. The accuracy of resemblance was irrelevant, and I chose not to cast it in metal. I just kept this fragile piece, for its presence, in my art studio. This nurturing process supported and mirrored my emotional situation and was a very ef cient form of art therapy.”
