“I cannot find a more interesting topic than life itself, motions and emotions, or a better subject than human beings and our unlimited collective mind and shared universal symbols.”

Perpetual explorer Bergonzi, intuitively draws from both science and spirituality to reach beyond cultures to what is universal. To her, life is all about energy, rhythm and flux, action and reaction, fusion and transformation. Inspired by the works of Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell, and articulated around archetypes, her vision builds on the harmony of contrasts, yin and yang, or the too often forgotten cycle of life: birth, creation, transformation, destruction and rebirth.

Inspired by her maternal grandfather's passion for jewelry making, Caroline Bergonzi learned bead works within the close circle of Paris haute-couture suppliers. Alumni of the prestigious Institut Francais de la Mode, she worked with Paris Couture companies – LVMH, Christian Lacroix and John Galliano, learnt jewelry making with suppliers for Ungaro and Givenchy and accessed the magic world of Francois Lesage embroidery mythic atelier. In New York, she has worked as a stylist with jewelry top brands, including her two favorites Van Cleef and Harpels and De Grisogono, with fashion designers and showrooms, advertising agencies and photographers, for still life jewelry images, musicians and more. Her work was featured on more than 400 pages of international magazine editorials. Among others, Caroline Bergonzi also served as the Fashion Editor of Trump Magazine and styled campaigns for Loreal Professional and others. Her own jewelry and accessories have been featured on the covers and in several magazines, including, Z!nk in the USA and Metropolis in Asia.

Crossing her authentic artistic vision and her expertise in Couture, CAROLINE BERGONZI ART JEWELRY is powerful, and unique in its diversity, from a perpetual exploration of themes, techniques and textures.

She has left a mark on the catwalks for designers such as Ungaro and Lacroix and, later, on covers and pages of prestigious international magazines. Since then, Bergonzi also established herself in fine arts, as a metal sculptor and a painter. In 2012 she completed a large book to share her experience, art and creative process. In 2013, her broad experience of both fashion and arts resulted in a new precious metals jewelry line. In 2015, her 26 foot wide Metamorphosis monumental sculpture, made of steel and brazed brass, was inaugurated in Manhattan.

From large metal sculpture to precious metal jewelry, the artist Caroline Bergonzi enjoys creating wearable artwork. The art studio is located in Greenwich Village, NYC and every piece is hand made in Manhattan.

Beside her own personal design and hand made collection, the artist also works on commission, for special projects. Click here to co-create something unique, for now and the next generations.
